Our aim is to encourage and help the congregation to join with us in singing to God and spreading God’s Word in Song.
We welcome everyone, especially the young in our Parish, because we wish this to be a congregational Praise.
Members of the Choir will learn more about their Faith through song and through meeting with others in St Malachy’s community.
Members are encouraged to join with us each Sunday; then especially at Christmas and Easter when, if possible, you can join our practices for these special occasions also. Occasionally, in addition to weekly Sunday Mass, and special religious events, we may participate in a funeral Mass. Rehearsals tend to be on Thursdays from 7.30pm for approximately 90 minutes.
Members will enjoy engaging with our Church community and experience a spiritual uplift through singing and in the words of our hymns.
