The aim of our Parish Council is to ensure that we can focus on our calling as Christians, working in community, continuing the mission of Jesus Christ in our time, in our place.
Our role has three distinct callings – the 3 ‘R’s: Review, Reflect, Recommend
Review: We will find out what’s happening in the Parish and ask what else could be happening
Reflect: We will pray, discuss and discern these matters – our training has had precisely this focus
Recommend: We will recommend practical ways forward to enhance the mission of the Parish according to our planned Pastoral themes
Our Pastoral themes are: Welcome (greeting worshippers and facilitating the information and wellbeing of everyone in our Parish); Outreach (Creating a greater awareness for parishioners and visitors, including Youth); Faith Development (Providing courses and prayerful opportunities; refreshment for our spiritual journey); A Responsible Parish (Each of us finding opportunity to use our gifts and talents and exploring how we, as a Parish, can be better guardians of God’s Creation).
